Living hall ceiling from the infamous Thaw Mansion, "Lyndhurst" in Pittsburgh, PA. Historic 42 room mansion built in 1880's - razed in 1940's. Notorious Harry Thaw and Evelyn Nesbitt lived here; the movie "Girl on the Red Velvet Swing" with Joan Crawford and the movie/musical "Ragtime based on their story.
One of a kind ceiling installed cathedral style in 25x15 room. Original installation was chateau style. Photos of ceiling while in Lyndhurst are available upon request.
Beautiful colors, design, and condition. Buyer responsible for removal, transport, and insuring during removal.
