Purchasing a recycled house and moving it to your own site is good idea for a few reasons. The other is that it's great for the environment. You're not cutting down more trees to make a brand new house, but rather using existing materials that may otherwise be demolished or disposed of.
An average structure consumes about 100 cubic yards of landfill space. Recycling these structures saves 5 million cubic yards of landfill space per year while saving 2.5 million trees!
